Domain Value:

Here are a number of examples of companies who 'get it' and secured their generic domains
back in the day when most businesses were asleep at the wheel in internet marketing terms.
Each of the companies below has made good use of a generic domain name that exactly matches
their primary business, or one of their main products or services.

Some of these companies have used their generic domain name as their main URL,
others have built a minisite around it, or forwarded it to their main website or to a specific page.
Of course all of these domains here would sell for at least 6 figure sums individually,
without websites, such is their value as the very best top end one word generic domains.
But, the key point is none of the present owners would EVER sell, for any amount.
They would never sell the most valuable, recognisable branding tools on earth to their competitors,
no matter how much they were offered. Branding tools with built in customers and traffic, every day!
Some bought 'back in the day', when their competitors were asleep at the wheel.
Others bought later from investors and businesses, once they 'got it'.
Many having to pay vast sums to correct their mistake. However they were thankful they had
the chance to acquire at a later date. A bit like stepping back into the time machine.
